Meet Chef Michael Winchester, the owner and head chef at Butcher Block Catering. Chef Michael has been in the food industry for over 35 years and has a passion for both great flavors and excellent presentation.

In his spare time, Chef Michael spends his time trying new culinary things, infusing different flavors together, and always discovering new recipes. Chef Michael has a policy that if he wouldn't eat it, he'll never serve it. 

Growing up, he was inspired by watching his mom cook, then he would experiment in his free time even as a kid. Cooking is his God-given talent and he prides himself on his extensive knowledge on how flavor combinations go together and how they interact with different meats.

Chef Michael is accustomed to keeping up with high volume food service as he's spent many years in food concessions at the Minnesota State Fair. Now, he enjoys using his experience to cater all kinds of events.
